President of the Scientific Cybersecurity Association, Professor of Caucasus University, Director of the Cyber Security Center – Maxim Iavich was elected a Corresponding Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences.
Professor Iavich has many years of experience in the scientific field. He is the head of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs. Maxim participates in and leads many international scientific, research and practical projects.
The main areas of Professor Iavich’s research activities are cybersecurity, cryptography, and post-quantum computing.
It should be noted that Professor Iavich is the first Corresponding Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences in the field of cybersecurity. It should also be mentioned, that his election will greatly contribute to the academic development of cybersecurity and related field in Georgia.
